Course Contents

This practical course is designed to introduce the Oracle's business process management tool - Oracle Workflow. The course covers the functionality of the Oracle Workflow engine, showing students how to use Oracle Workflow to automate and streamline business processes using the Workflow Builder, and to implement the workflow functionality in the context of business applications.

The course will introduce the concepts of workflow management and development, as well as focus on the technical PL/SQL API's that are used to build and manage integrated workflow functions within the database. This will use version 2.6 of Workflow builder, sitting on a 10g database, but will be suitable for 9i also.
