This course is designed to give the Oracle 9i database administrator a firm foundation in backup and recovery tasks. The primary goal of the course is to give the DBA the skills and knowledge to set-up, maintain and troubleshoot an Oracle 9i backup and recovery scheme.

The enhancements and changes that have been introduced in 9i will be discussed during this course for the benefit of students to understand the full capability of the Oracle 9i RDBMS as well as for students who may be migrating plans from previous Oracle RDBMS versions.
