Project Methodology

iTrain provides a fully managed training service designed to fulfil the lifecycle training needs of our customers' corporate implementation programmes based around a proven training delivery methodology by prioritising the context and programming of change within the business. The iTrain delivery methodology is based on a customer driven set of business processes designed to ensure that our customers maximise their investment in product applications, bespoke implementations and services and is structured in four key phases as follows:

Define

Define the exact nature of the requirement by initiating a Business Analysis/Process Modelling phase. This requires input from

  • The iTrain Project Manager
  • The Client Project Team
  • Key system users outside the project team

This phase prioritises the analysis of change within both the culture and the procedural context of the customer. The information is used to ensure that the project programme contextualises the business change associated with the implementation providing clear logistical data to establish training needs, student needs and business needs. This approach ensures that specific delegate change needs are understood and incorporated into the training as well as the corporate requirements, and that the associated training support resources will be fit for purpose etc. When all this information has been collated, the iTrain Project Manager will then have a clear direction in which to proceed.

Design

The collated information will be used to design a project plan to incorporate:

  • template and design/delivery criteria
  • e-Learning support and story-boards
  • development of the course materials
  • logistics planning
  • message management and contextualisation

Develop

Courseware will be developed for each of the courses as agreed in the project plan using the customer's business processes and system-specific implementation. Any additional configuration or process-based information can be contextualised and incorporated into the courseware to ensure the client specific messages are fully reinforced throughout the delivery programme.

iTrain grants a full copyright licence for all developed courseware to ensure that the courseware is developed specifically for each customer's requirements and will only be used for the instruction of the customers staff. The courseware will be developed using full document management resources and will be delivered in agreed formats allowing the customer to maintain the content themselves in the future. iTrain can also provide language translation services where required.

Deploy

The instructors will be deployed to deliver the courses and to train the customer's trainers (Train the Trainer) or students directly (End User Rollout) across the rollout regions as agreed in the project plan.
